The Importance of Feedback and Correction in My Lessons
Feedback is a powerful tool in learning, especially when it comes to mastering English. In my lessons, I focus on giving clear, gentle feedback that helps students understand their mistakes without feeling discouraged.
Correction is always done kindly and constructively. I highlight what the student did well before guiding them toward improvements. This approach builds confidence and encourages a positive attitude toward learning.
Regular feedback helps students recognize patterns, improve pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary, and track their progress. It also empowers them to become more independent learners, knowing how to self-correct and grow.
To make learning even more motivating, students earn XP points through my gamified classroom experience during each lesson. Gaining XP rewards their effort and progress in real time, turning learning into a fun, engaging journey. The XP can be used to hatch, feed, grow, and take care of a virtual pet that each student chooses, adding an extra layer of motivation and responsibility.
